TAX AND OTHER FEES:
The transition period has now ended and sadly, the UK has left the EU.
EXTRA FEES MIGHT BE ADDED UPON DELIVERY. These unfortunately need to be covered by the buyer. Please consider this before buying.

byMaraca is UK-based, and EU countries may now charge an import tax and 'potentially a clearance fee' for buying products from Britain worth €150 or less. This means you may have to pay before the parcel will be delivered to you (please see 'More Info' below). Each EU country has agreed to a different amount of this import tax and custom fees, but generally, it can be as high as 30%.
Please be aware of this when ordering from my shop. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do, and as a non-UK citizen myself, I’m incredibly sad this is happening. I want to be as transparent as possible. Thank you for your continued support, it does mean the world to me. Please see my cancellation terms in case you are not happy with this.

Extracts:
Taxes, duties and a clearance fee may be due on goods (excluding personal correspondence) sent from Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) to the EU. There are no taxes or duties due on items from Northern Ireland to the EU.

The taxes and duties depend on the contents’ value. The thresholds are as follows:

  • Since 1 July 2021, most goods to the EU (with the exception of gifts) are now subject to VAT and potentially a clearance fee.
  • Goods above €150 may be subject to VAT, customs duties and a clearance fee.
