Kernowcraft, a fantastic jewellery-making and tools supplier, have been in touch again - this time to chat about markets!
I love love love a good market (as you can see in my events list!). In this blog and vlog, I'm talking about how best to prepare for the big day, what to do in advance, what to take (there's a whole packing list!), how much to make and so much more!
Have a look and do let me know if these tips have been useful for you!
Kernowcraft have kindly asked my to be a guest tutor, teaching how to make simple hoops and charms.
This is an ideal project for beginners, as it involves minimal tools and no fire at all! Step-by-step instructions and two videos to guide you through the process can be found on the below link - just click the button!
Have a look and do tag your finished hoops on social media, I would love to see your variations.

I appreciate some people experience more rainy days than others, and I want to be a person that sees that and helps when I myself am in a situation that allows me to to something and brighten someone else's day. This is what inspired me to donate regularly to charities.
My connection with charities started in 2021 with my FEMME line. 10% of all proceeds were donated to my nominated charities.
Those included Go With The Flow and CoppaFeel! - charities that empower people with periods and breast tissues by giving them access to menstrual products / advice on spotting breast cancer.
In 2023, I changed my approach, seeing that it was increasingly hard to make sure I donated the right amount, and do it regularly, and I also found it really hard to change my chosen charity because I felt I was being unfair picking a new one!
Instead, I am now donating monthly to Womens Aid UK and Diabetes UK, opening up and including another charity that's close to my heart, seeing that I am a type 1 diabetic myself.
Charities I have supported:
Go With The Flow, a one-person charity that supports people with periods by providing period packs to a local community in London.
CoppaFeel!, a charity that educates about breast cancer and how to check your boobs.
Women for Women International, an organisation that helps woman survivors of wars rebuild their lives.
Know a charity that you'd like me to support? Want to know more? Get in touch or speak to me at a market, I'm always happy to chat about supporting great causes!
